The Overo series from Gumstix Inc. offers several single board computers with OMAP35xx System-on-Chips (SoC). The Gumstix Overo Earth features the OMAP3503 and represents the entry-level model.

Gumstix Overo Camera (in Machine Vision / Computer Vision Quality)

Gumstix Overo camera board

We have created the PIXHAWK Camera board, which can be directly connected to the OMAP ISP interface through the Overo J5 connector. We're still working on the Linux hardware drivers for the Aptina MT9V032 sensor. This low-noise CMOS imager with global shutter and 752 x 480 resolution is perfect for machine vision or computer vision research purposes.

    1. The signals of connectors J1, J4 and J5 are connected directly to the OMAP3503 without buffers.
    2. The signals named EM_Ax and EM_Dx are connected to the OMAP GPMC interface (named GPMC_Ax and GPMC_Dx in OMAP documents).
